Here's a sketch for a new fairly large (5' x 5') painting that I'm going to start probably next week. It's tentatively going to be called 'The Lioness.' So far, I love that this is the kind of pose you would not strike in this type of dress. The numbers in the upper right are measurements of the model. 8 inches from chin to top of head and 15 across her shoulders. This helps me determine how large the wooden support will be when I go to cut it. Check back for progress.
